I'm Shu, a product designer from Vancouver, Canada and Nanjing, China. My method involves blending rigorous research with creative intuition, a skill I honed while studying Industrial Design at Rhode Island School of Design. I contribute through the design of both physical and digital interventions in the health sector, with experience ranging from sports medicine to robotics for bronchoscopy and urology.

My work is rooted in the idea that a product's function and its personability are equally important. I specialize in creating technology that supports patients through vulnerable moments, aiming to make their journey feel more understood. My Chinese Canadian heritage and an upbringing by the ocean in multicultural Vancouver have made me adept at bridging diverse perspectives to find common ground. It is this viewpoint I'm eager to bring to the cohort of Res_Fut as we collaborate on projects that serve a global community.
