Xin chào, I’m Mai! I’m an illustrator,comic artist, and designer from Vietnam. I recently graduated from RMIT university Vietnam with a bachelor degree in Design Studies.

Growing up with comics, I’m most interested in using my art to tell impactful stories, deeming narrated illustrations as one of the most effective ways to share humane tales. Changing the world for the better is never one or two designers’ jobs, and it’s most pivotal that we can convince people to take action via storytelling.

Apart from doing art, I love getting involved in educational and social activities, priding myself on being a Student Representative during my bachelor years. Being a part of Saigon’s tight-knitted art community, I enjoy applying my creativity to organizing and supporting social events. These activities help me embrace my out-going and talkative self, and I can’t stress enough they help my work become more practical and more human-centered.

Upon this journey with Responseable_Futures, I’m really excited to see how meeting and working with people from diverse cultures will further strengthen my design.
