Camila Solis Monroy

I'm Camila Solis, an architect graduated from La Paz, Bolivia. My work is grounded in the belief that design can be a tool for social change and environmental responsibility. Over the past years, I’ve been involved in projects ranging from community-led housing to sustainable tourism infrastructure in the Bolivian Amazon, always seeking to design not just for people. I currently work with an NGO dedicated to eradicating precarious housing through collaborative construction and educational workshops. My interests lie in participatory processes, low-tech solutions, and design that responds to context, climate, and dignity.Outside of work, I’m a very family-oriented person. I love the ocean, swimming, dancing, traveling, and discovering new foods. Music is a big part of my life, especially the band AJR!  and I deeply enjoy spending time with friends and embracing different cultures.
