Call for Participation!
In January, LUCA researcher Yoni Lefevre will facilitate a a three-day Care Topic Masterclass on how to design and research with and for taboo topics. The workshop will take place on the 5-7th of January 2026.
The workshop will take place on the 5-7th of January 2026 at the LUCA School of Arts, Campus C-Mine in Genk, Belgium.The aim of the masterclass is to engage with taboo topics through playful experiences. Participants will explore a language that enables designers to communicate design scenarios, not necessarily solving problems, but staying with the trouble, and making the taboo visible or accessible for others. It will include participation from: Aditi vzw, pstaboo (@petrasalaric), Tabea Marie Zorn, Dr. Marie Louise Juul Sondergaard and @studiopluis.
We welcome Design Educators on an Erasmus teaching exchange or those who can apply through their own institutional funding opportunities, including those who just happen to be passing through.
